Dr. Mandeep Gill is teaching a course on Black Holes at Insted. Dr. Gill is mentoring our students in order to analyze and conduct original physics research. One of his students, Federico Stanzani is now writing a paper Analyzing the Viability of Primordial Black Holes is a component of Dark Matter is ongoing. He will be publishing his latest analysis soon.

In this research, Dr. Gill mentored Federico Stanzani, who is taking extracurricular Physics and Astrophysics courses at Insted.

Here is the abstract for the paper on Primordial Black Holes written by Federico Stanzani in December 2022. To read the full paper in pdf, please click this link.

Estimating the Habitability of Trappist-1 Exoplanets in Aquarius

JWST shows that in Constellation Aquarius, TRAPPIST-1b appears to have a little-to-no atmosphere. Astronomer Bernard Carr noted that this could be due to the existence of primordial black holes which predate the Big
